Here at Preby London, we specialise in bespoke bridal design. We make sure you’re an integral part of your dress’ design process from the very beginning to the final finishing touches.
The process begins with an initial consultation to discuss your ideas and vision for your bespoke wedding dress. From here, your personal designer and seamstress will work with your body shape and measurements to create the dress of your dreams. Together you will discuss materials, cuts and silhouettes to make you feel beautiful and confident when walking down the aisle on your big day.
We make sure to keep you in the loop throughout the whole creation of your dress, outlining at the early stages of the process an estimated finish time so you can have peace of mind that everything will be ready for your wedding. We are also transparent about costs, and we give you a quote for your dress before any work begins as a 50% deposit is required.
THE FITTING PROCESS
Preby London takes you through a thorough and in-depth fitting process in the run-up to your wedding to make sure your dress is exactly as you’d always imagined it. In the very first fitting with your seamstress, a full cotton toile will mirror your exact dress. Our team then uses this when creating your dress with the agreed-upon fabric, to make sure it fits you like a glove. This also means that any changes or alterations needed can be made on the toile before we start work on your wedding dress.
The number of fittings you complete with us can be completely tailored to your needs and wants, however, we ask that you attend a minimum of 3 meetings to ensure we can fully meet your dress expectations. We always recommend bringing along the shoes and any undergarments you plan on wearing under the dress to give you a full effect of how the dress will feel on the day.
